Well, since I have done a great deal of work on my relationship to money through working with my Coaches over the last two decades, I am finding that I have a great deal of peace in my relationship to and with money today.   I notice abundance everywhere, I celebrate by clapping and saying thank you for this sign of abundance every time I see a Dunbar, Brinks, or Loomis Fargo truck, or coins in my walking path.

My focus is no longer on debt.  I noticed that that which I focus on is what gets attracted and manifests in my life over time…I was focused on debt reduction for many years – guess what, I attracted more debt.  Now that I am focused on abundance and the positive aspects of what I want to attract, I am focused on the activities in my business and work that will get me to abundance.  They go together, action and thought.  When I was focused on debt reduction, I was focused on working hard and not smart.  I was focused on working to pay the bills, so it was a never ending cycle.

Now, I am grateful for all the bills I pay, thanking the service provider for my comforts or for the service that contributes to me and my business being successful.  I no longer pay my bills with disdain or complain when Mr. Bill is in my mailbox waiting to be greeted.

It has not always been this way though.  I used to buy on emotions, especially when I was stressed or wanted to avoid something emotional; a purchase would always help me feel better, temporarily and the joy may have sometimes lasted until I had to pay the bill.  I have also mentioned in a previous post that I would buy expensive gifts for my boyfriend(s) to gain their attention or love; that was a lesson learned on its own.  I would also do this to ‘buy’ girlfriends.  I used to whine about Mr. Bill and my checking and savings accounts.  I was focused on lack and spending to solve a feeling of lack in the area of being fully loved.

Now, I completely love myself, my husband, my dog, my life.  I am abundant in all ways and have some amazing and loyal girlfriends.  I am blessed.

Where are you and what are your habits with respect to money?
