Saving your marriage is a solution instead of separation in spite of the statistics and how couples in crisis may feel. Most spouses attempt to solve the problems in the marriage in the same way they got created – they work on their marriage by themselves or by consulting a family member or a religious figure. Relationship Coaching is an option for the couple to QUICKLY determine whether or not the marriage is salvageable and the Coach will provide tools and techniques that neither of you can see you need in the marriage. When you two committed to getting married, you were both in love. You agreed to spend the rest of your lives together, making plans for your future such as buying a house, perhaps having a family, and everything seemed wonderful until…one day you realized something had changed. You would rather just go your separate ways than undertake a solution to make an effort to save the marriage. How can it be that just because you cannot stand to be in the same room together, or you have some conflict, you want the seemingly quick and easy way out. Your marriage did not happen overnight, neither does saving it. Falling in love is left to accident or to chance but creating a sustaining marriage or relationship is not even considered as a work in progress with your spouse/partner. It is absolutely possible to reignite that spark you had, you just need to know what has caused your marriage to go into the trouble zone; note, I am not saying you should spend time on finding out WHY the marriage is in trouble. Looking at Why causes both parties in the relationship to find fault or blame the other. Relationship Coaching A positive, results oriented solution is to hire a Relationship Coach to work with both of you. The Coach will collaborate with both of you to identify what is working, what is not working, when things started to slip and what was happening in your lives to lead to the slippage, all while providing you both with the ability to open up to each other and communicate fully to begin a conversation for what it would take to make the marriage work going forward. You both were different people when you got married, then life happens, and we expect our marriages to be the same through the life changes/events.
You will find the things you need to save your marriage and reunite you…OR You will discover that you both simply have shifted apart such that you both want different things now that no longer intersect and the purpose of your union has been served and is complete. Get Away (after a predefined amount of sessions with your Coach) Occasionally, the daily press of life is too much for couples to take. They have to face life starting from work, kids, finances, house work and other issues. All of those things can influence a person's ability to cope and communicate wholly. Go to a place where the two of you can be alone, settle down and enjoy each other. You can cool down your mind and think back again about your life so far. You will overlook for a while that you're facing daily stressors, have screaming kids, or have a boss that is breathing down your neck. Both of you can focus on each other. Taking a second honeymoon, if you realize, is a great idea for saving a marriage. To Save Your Marriage or NOT should be taken very seriously. Either choice will stay with you for many years to come as the emotional influence is not known by you until much later in life – without Coaching to help you move forward with peace and joy. So, what are you waiting for? Find out more about saving your marriage, stop wasting time, energy, emotions, and energy – hire a Coach to work with you and sort through everything much quicker and more efficiently than you are doing on your own and without as much emotional baggage to carry as you move forward.
