The answer is It Depends because the answer could vary from man to man.  I had a boyfriend who called me that and he meant that he adored me and was only with me.  I also had another boyfriend who meant he wanted a purely sexual relationship with no strings attached.  I suggest you ask your man what he means by that and be ready to accept his response. Quite often we don’t want to ask the person directly because we may be afraid of the answer.  Heartache and investing too much time in a relationship can be avoided if we just ask the question and respond to the answer appropriately.
