So, to continue our conversation about Money, I invite you to think about this question.

How is money is tied to my fulfillment and happiness?  I am having a hard time reconciling this question in my mind, body, and Spirit.  My gut is resisting my mind and my heart is resisting my gut and mind.  What is this about?  Telling the truth!

So, money is tied to my fulfillment for being able to have a home, food and safety.  A peaceful and Spirit connecting view is important to me – my husband and I live in a suburb overlooking a small neighborhood lake.  Our kitchen windows are positioned for optimal viewing of the wildlife and the lake, which is abundant.  This is what brings me happiness and fulfillment.  My husband and I are truly blessed with this home.

I find that the more time I spend in Corporate America, the more connected I get to money and materialism.  I have been working on my relationship to money for decades.  I used to keep up with the fashion trends due to the ‘perceived’ peer pressure, which incidentally did not exist.  What did exist was my need to belong and clothes/shoes/accessories were the vehicle…My journey with money has been tumultuous, I have lost more than I have made, I have given gifts to get love or acceptance, I have spent to feel better about myself, I have not been grateful for what I have…and today, I am happy to say that all I was ever looking for was that one person who GETS me.  Money was definitely not the path to find that person.  Funnily, it was Match.com – Everyone knows someone who met on Match.com. Now it’s your turn. Search Now that created the space to meet him.

Money now allows me to keep and maintain our home, feed my family, travel with friends and family.  It is simply a vehicle.

I can now say with immense gratitude, that no matter how much or how little money I have, as long as I am with and am endowed with the amazing love of my husband, Chuck, all is well, I am happy and fulfilled.  Thank you Chuck for this immense gift you have given me = peace and harmony with money.
