"Why is it that all married people think the cure for all the maladies of the single world is to douse it in "get married gasoline" and light it up, baby?" Dr. Dar says: Whenever a single person is told to get married or questioned why they are not married by someone who is married, ask them personal questions about their marriage and relationship. This tip really works. Ask them questions like, tell me about how perfect your marriage is? Are your finances all perfect, how do you and your husband manage money? Did you give up on anything by getting married? Do you feel supported to do what you want in your career? What issues are there in your marriage? Do you feel you settled in any area? Think of other questions you are just itching to ask and are too scared to. A miracle will happen when you shift the focus off you and your Single-Dom…they will CURE the disease they have called Judgy-Mouth disease and they will quickly stop advising you, especially if you ask them these questions in front of other people. My experience is that you will only have to ask one or two questions because they will want to change the subject so freaking fast, it will make the room spin and then they will want to leave the room! Good Luck with this tip and let me know how it works or does not work for you!
