In the movie Angels and Demons based on Dan Brown's book, I heard the new favorite to the newly installed Pope: "Religion is imperfect because man is imperfect".
Relationships are imperfect because man is imperfect – I started looking at the imperfections of relationships and marriage. Women and Men spend energy on wanting perfection in their relationships when we should be paying attention to what works in our relationships and loving our imperfections because that is part of what brought us together, perfection and imperfection in perfect balance.
You both were not perfect when you got together and yet there was perfection in bringing you together – resulting in perfect balance and successful relationship.
Remember – balance perfect with imperfect for a fulfilling and successful relationship! I know I have my flaws as does my husband and we accept our flaws along with our greatness and move forward in our loving dance called marriage.
